A Note from Annie…

The beauty of hand-dyed yarn is that each skein is unique. I try to keep my photos as accurate as possible, but the colors on the screen of your device may display differently. Also, I create my formulas to be as consistent between dye lots as the dyes themselves will allow. Within dye lots I take extra care to make sure the skeins match as best I can, but between dye lots I can make no guarantees that the colorways will be exactly the same. This is the same disclaimer you’ll find on many of the big hand-dyed yarn brands.

As a small indie dye studio, I not only dye the yarn, but I also handle customer service, which means that the e-mails you receive are typed by the same hands that handle each of your skeins with care throughout the entire process. This makes for a more personal relationship between me and my customers, and that’s something special you probably don’t have with the big yarn brands. I hold myself to a high standard and am quite the perfectionist, but I cannot make my standard one of absolute perfection due to the nature of working with dyes. I do the best I can to create the quality of product I myself would want to enjoy, and that standard has served me well. If you are dissatisfied with your yarn, please let me know. All I ask is that your words be seasoned with the knowledge that I work hard to create beautiful things and support my family. Thank you.

note: I am in the process of creating new colorway photos that more accurately represent each colorway. This is a work in progress, so please bear with me while I try different things!
